beginning of the grazing season
The time has finally come - the grazing season is beginning! After months in the stable, our beloved four-legged friends are now looking forward to being able to go back to the lush green meadows. But before that happens, there are a few important things to consider:
- Slow grazing: Start the grazing season slowly by gradually increasing the grazing time. Start with short periods in the pasture and increase gradually. This will help prevent digestive problems such as colic and give the horse time to adjust to the fresh grass.
- Adjusting the feed ration: Adjust your horse's feed ration to the changed conditions of summer. Since the horse eats additional grass in the pasture, may go to more tournaments on the weekend or has more exercise than in winter, you should adjust the amount of hay or concentrate feed to suit the horse individually to avoid TOO MUCH or TOO LITTLE.
- And last but not least, especially at the end of winter in the stable and the beginning of the grazing season, feeding with Exqizid products would bring many benefits in order to start the upcoming summer in a vital state.
Enjoy the wonderful grazing season with your horse and make sure it is safe and vital!
